Website Design & Development for Service Businesses
Someone who lands on your site needs to work out whether your service fits their situation and how to get in touch. The site should make both of those clear without much effort on their part.
We design and build sites for service businesses across the United States. The structural work that search engines and AI search tools depend on happens during the build, not as a later cleanup pass.

What this work solves
A site can look current and still be hard to understand, navigate, or use. The work can address issues such as:
- Messaging that describes the company instead of the problem the visitor came to solve
- A contact path that is hard to find, hard to trust, or asks for too much too early
- Service pages that blur together, so neither a visitor nor a search engine can tell them apart
- Slow-loading pages, layout shift, and heavy scripts that make the site feel unreliable on a phone
- Accessibility gaps such as unlabeled form fields, poor contrast, or navigation that cannot be used by keyboard
- Markup a crawler cannot interpret, which makes the content harder for search engines and AI search tools to make sense of
How we approach the work
We start with your customers and the decision they are trying to make, then plan each page around the action you want them to take. Structure comes before visuals, and the copy is written alongside the design instead of being added once the layouts are finished. You work directly with the founder, and scope, deliverables, and pricing are agreed in writing before work begins.
- Discovery on your services, your customers, and the questions they ask before hiring
- A sitemap and page structure organized around search intent, with one clear intent per page
- Design in your brand, built mobile-first, with a visible and consistent next step on every page
- Copy support so each page states the offer, the audience, and the action plainly
- Build, review, and launch with the reporting and tracking you need to see what happens next
What a scope can include
Every engagement is scoped to the site in front of us, so the list below describes what a project can include rather than a fixed package. We confirm the specifics in writing before work starts.
- Page design adapted to your brand, content, and goals, with mobile layouts planned from the start
- Responsive front-end development with semantic, accessible markup
- Performance work on Core Web Vitals: image handling, script weight, and layout stability
- Contact and quote forms with validation and reliable email delivery
- Server-rendered pages so crawlers receive complete HTML
- Baseline on-page SEO: titles, descriptions, heading structure, and internal links
- Structured data for your organization and services
- Analytics and conversion tracking so form submissions and page use are recorded
- Editing, maintenance, and handoff requirements documented in the agreed scope
Search and AI readability start during the build
A rebuild is a practical moment to get the technical groundwork right. Server-rendered HTML, a clean heading hierarchy, descriptive internal links, and structured data ship as part of the build, and the SEO and AI Search Visibility work later depends on those same assets. Adding them to a finished template afterward usually means reworking pages that were just signed off. Planning an online store? Who this fits
A good fit
- Service businesses whose current site is dated, slow, or hard to update
- Companies whose services have changed but whose website has not caught up
- Owners who get traffic but few qualified inquiries from it
- Businesses planning SEO or AI Search Visibility work who want the structural side handled first
Not what we do
- Complex software products unrelated to a website or ecommerce storefront
- Complex web applications with user accounts and dashboards
- Social media management, which we do not offer
Honest limits
A new website can remove friction, clarify your offer, and make your business easier to crawl and understand. It cannot create demand that does not exist, and it cannot guarantee a number of leads, a revenue figure, or a search position. If we think a redesign is not the most useful change you could make right now, we will tell you that during the audit.
